Let me tell you, what happened to me someday...

It was a Friday afternoon, when my friend Ann called me by anxiety in her voice.

To help her about next' s Saturday event related to her work. Tomorrow!

Yes, the day was on the next day!

The company she worked for, asked from all its employees an exact dress code at working time. This was full of suits, fine shirts, formal fashion accessories like lady bags, calm trends, elegant shoes, quiet in style belts, simple cravats, great quality on materials, minimal patterns/ lines on design.

The event now was a real party.

Happiness is the single feeling, when your team gets amazing goals on projects.

If the boss is a nice human being, spreads a gratitude mood to his people.

Specially when he/ she lives with them in a daily routine.

They are all members of a family type.

So Ann wanted to look stunning but respectful.

In a contemporary outfit but being dressed in-style.

Modern enough but not giving a madly trendy image.

Her worst style ever was to look like a sexy influencer on social media websites, dressed up by eccentric colors or reminding to coworkers of her, any silly fashion victim,

some time they met somewhere in other parties.

She loved to look attractive, out of the work time, not to cause the gossip, though.

And this is a logical way of thinking. She can't play fake roles.

I didn't mention to you the main point.

Ann had no budget to sacrifice on this party demands. She collected an amount of money to fix her old kitchen by pain, saving her needs for later...

No way to borrow money from her people, for a party!

She is a nice friend. I had to think of a speedy effective way to calm her.

Yes, she had to pay me, too for my services. It could be possible, to add this payment to the next one, about her creative room -I told you before- so, we decided to do the shopping immediately...

...at home!

Open your closet.

1. Decide the color pallet you'll be dressed up & the main style.

2. Chose the kind of the main cloth cut pattern: Pants or Dress? Suit or Top/ Pants? Top/ Skirt or Overall/ Uniform?

Check these:

Do you feel glamorous? Try sparkly materials on 1 item.

On a top or on a clutch bag, on your necklace or on earrings. Your sandals would play the game, too. Why not to try a new make up style? Maybe a new glossy lipstick? Long dresses with sharp cuts on the upper body part or legs completely free to the eyes, never help in business events.

Do you like the minimal calmness?

Wear a simple top made by satin, crepe, lace with no sleeves, ruffles, pleats or more decorative parts. Match it to a pair of pants in cigarette style. Let your sandals calm in a lovely matt color. Silver makes sense on this look. Let your nails also elegant in a French style or try nude tints. Small but original jewels and a real care on your smooth hair make you look lovely. Add a simple bag, with fine cuts on its pattern and steal the admiration.

What about an eccentric detail?

You want the simple picture but you dare a new item, too. Let the odd but trendy note be added on your coat. On your bracelet. But let it be 1 item. Try a new hair style. If you use a half up style daily, now let the hair free in a rich wavy look. Why to say no to a new color? In this way you won't sudden anyone on an ordinary day. They 'll accept the new icon at a party mood, revealing your updated style.

Don't make it causal, except the exact style is asked by the company. Appearing in denim tight pants and crop tops, sneakers and a ponytail, would make you look like the drunk one who reached at the place for help.

However, if the style of the event is like this, you could all appear even in your pyzama sets!

Be sure about your items in the closet

You keep everything tided in the closet but after a month you're not sure about the number of your similar shirts.

Six skirts play in there.

How many blazers in black or dark grey exist on your hungers?

What we decided at last for the event?

Ann wanted the detail to make sense, passing the doors of the hall like a princess.

I was sure about the light yellow cape-coat. She would put it on her armchair back, later.

She loves the total black, like me and many other people. (Maybe you, too!)

She tried a satin black top, close to her body but not skinny.

High neck, open back side with lace.

Her long hair in waves covered in a smart way her shoulder by her movements.

A pair of trousers with elastane thread on its material gifted her the comfy sense, to sit, to eat or to dance in next hours. Wider from the knee to her toes created a new figure for her, like being in an effective diet.

Did you know that this style on pants makes you look thinner and taller?

A pair of calm earrings let a single wide bracelet to play the protagonist role on her wrist.

By this hand she uses to hold her drink glass.

Boot - sandals with leather net let her feet breathing, looking modern but safe and suitable to the whole dynamic look. Worn for 2nd time only, as Ann had left them forgotten in their box for months... another sudden shopping treasure, unworn till now!

Time to put them on the scene, baby!

What we won!

Cozy mood for Ann with a friend. Me. Party mood for us...
An ice cream in a huge bowl teasing both of us, deciding what, how, why about the outfit among fashion items. You laugh, ahh?
Mirror pictures for more outfits. We prepared new images for next weeks 's looks.
A total styling lesson for Ann made her happy. That caused me an equal feeling!
A new clean closet with each item in its position. A special need, believe me!
Appreciation from Ann, for my won target to set her expenses on level - Zero. She spent nothing for the event. She may need more than 250euros - only trying shopping on cheap websites, or stores with fast fashion. Just for some items and not for a total look needs.*

The quality of her existed items was great, bought at past times by purpose and not being in hurry about a sudden event. This is important to think, when you run out at stores.

Ann enjoyed so much at those event. She received a lot of compliments about her outfit. The wondering eyes were also there, on how she prevent to prepare a beautiful outfit,

just a half day before the party evening.

This made me smiley, in advance.

People from her working place asked about the help she accepted.

Guess who was available to help them by the same positive mood...
